Hehe

It does sound cool......Over 4000 rpm all hell breaks loose.........the car sounds like something far more exotic, although its still pretty close in character (not db!) to the stock M3.

Oh and as I said on the darkside, kin f**ked up the humourous intro.  He was supposed to make fun of the fact I wanted an exhaust that was not too noisy, but like a dope went to a company thats more known for producing Ferrrari and Lamborghini exhausts

Sounds cool. Your wife will be able to hear you coming from miles away and have the dinner on the table when you come in.  (presuming you're married)

I am Alex, but not for long at the rate I'm spending money on the car :)

Just wondering how I can convince her I need to spend €5k on a brake upgrade

Check out my planned mods in my sig!

Nice one Kin. Thats what I'd say. Or you could buy her a ring for €500 cash, and when she see's €5000 missing from the bank account she will think thats what the ring cost and love you even more. (Hope to god Pamela doesn't read this one).

I love those Larini exhaust, so much that I am selling them!!  Hiop exhaust are made in the same factory.

The e46M3 is one nice piece of kit, much more engineering went into it (and labour for production) than any system on the market!

Mick, if you don't mind me asking how much did you pay for it (you can pm me if you prefer)

What kind of BBK are you looking for, there is some very good stuff out there for less than 5k  (you can also pm me for that too! )

Well at least its not on a saxo/corsa/clio as it would sound rediculous!

Love E46 M3's exhausts!

So you need the 3.2 straight six to get that sound?

Is the M3 wider than the M5 or is it just the angle?

Just the angle I think. The flared arches and lower height as well will create the illusion.

E39 M5 is 1.8m wide and the E46 M3 is 1.76m wide.
