i love my car to bits but i was a little disappointed that it didnt have full closure alarm,(1996 320i touring)

messing about today i held my finger on the remote button and it closed the sunroof!!!!!!!

not all the way, but it did move.......

that was strange i thought......

so was i wrong? has it got full closure? or does it just work on the sunroof on e36's?

have had cars before where the windows need recalibrating due to battery being disconnected or power loss of some sort is it a case of this?

anyone???

try locking with the key and holding it towards the back of the car.  That should clear it up.

If you hold down the button that closes the central locking, you should find that the windows will close as well.  However, it only closes to the extent you keep the button depressed.
