Town & Country Festival at Stoneliegh

Saturday 26th to Monday 28th August, 2006

The Club has been allocated the same large display area as last year, and we hope to have an impressive array of cars over the three days.

We hope to make this year an event for all the family, so should people wish to attend two/three days there is overnight camping/caravan available adjacent to the main entrance with full facilities (hot showers and toilets). Evening entertainment provided by a local group. Cost for camping/caravan is Ł25.50 for the duration of the event, alternatively cars can be driven in at the beginning of each day prior to the Show opening to the public.

There is something for everyone with a large variety of different displays taking place in the Grand Ring each day. From a Cavalcade of Hounds that encourages interaction between children and animals, to the Red Devil Parachute Display Team dropping in … literally, and then back to earth with a bump (well hopefully not) with a motorbike display from the Royal Signals White Helmets, and much more besides.

In addition to the ‘Ring activities (I know … there is only one true “Ring” !!) there are numerous other attractions including a Festival of Shopping, for the green-fingered a large Gardening feature, Antiques and Crafts, and a huge number of classic cars and models to view.
