morning all,

another little quirk of my beamer is that occasionally the steering makes a worrying grating noise.....this only seems to happen when i am in reverse and am turning the wheel whilst applying the brake eg when i'm parking.  It doesn't happen every time.

is this something to be concerned about?

Nope. But watch out for the steering fluid level and investigate further if it drops.
