   hi there im now looking into buying an e36 m3 evo and would be really greatfull to anyone who can give me any advice on the vanos units, i know that they have a bit of a reputation for failing but is there anything that i have to look out for or anything that i can check before i buy one?  Any advice would be greatfully received!
