This event is being held at Wetherby Racecouse on Sunday 21/05/06.

I have approached the organisers asking if we can display cars. They have agreed to this and have offered two free entry tickets per car. Additional passengers will have to pay the standard admission fees of £12.00, children 4 - 15 years old £6.00.

More details on this event can be found here http://www.mtrpromotions.co.uk/. Other attractions on the day will be car club displays, motor-bike stunt riding, radio controlled model demonstrations, fairground rides etc.

As you know, we do attend the more traditional events like classic car shows, rallies etc, but this event is that little bit different. If you've any sort if interest in cars, you'll enjoy this day out.

Can you let me know as soon as possible if you would like to attend, together with the model and registration number of your car.

Cheers,

Mick

It's still on Mark, the numbers are slowly creaping up a bit.

The organisors haven't confirmed what time they want us there yet.

Was thinking of meeting at the Esso services near Scotch Corner (Middleton Tyas?)

Cheers,

Mick

Mick, how many have you got for this now?
My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with a girl who saw Ferris pass-out at 31 Flavours last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

Sorry guys,

Been away for the past couple of days. The list is currently standing at:-

Mick Golightly

E30 Baur

Mark Flood

E30 M3

Falkster

E30 M3

Lizzy PB

E21/E30

Mike Barron

E30 318is

Alan Stevenson

E34 525is

Mark Stevenson

That's 13 so far.

For those that are still undecided, here's a couple of pics taken late on at last year's show at Herrington Park:-

(Isn't that an E30 with the alloy wheels?)

Don't forget that entry is free for up to two passengers in each car. After than, additional passengers are charged at the normal public admission prices of £12.00 per adult or £6.00 per child.

I'm shortly going to have to close the list on this event, but there's still time for more to join up!

Mick

I've mailed the Vale Of York people today, so hopefully some will be able to make it.  It's be nice to see a wider variety of cars there too.

How does the SAAB thing work then?

Looks like a great turnout!

Hope you get good weather and have a good show.

I knew there'd be logic to the Saab.  Always fancied a Swede myself  named Helga of the like ahem!

Just had news from Mick that the event has been cancelled due to concerns around the potential noise levels. He said an event will be planned at the same venue for later in the year and we're more than welcome to attend.

I suppose Mick will give more details when he gets access

Z3M Roadster (gone....just...but not forgotten...yet)
E30 M3 (Toy)
Alfa 147 (just gone)
BMW 330d (new work horse)
Daimler Double 6 (no idea yet)
