I should be getting these parts tomorrow so will double check that all is ok and its exactly what I need. I know some of the pins are still ok, but they are quite corroded so may as well be replaced.

Took the bumper to bits last night. Bumper removal was dead easy. Loosening the splitter was not. Angle grinder came out to sort the 2 middle bolts. Now been replaced with stainless steel items.

Have extended the splitter about half-way - full extension really looks a bit silly for day-to-day use. Certainly does not look like this was ever going to be on-car adjustable! Will see how it goes with the splitter out - hopefully not too much grounding.

Interestingly, comparing the underside of my car with Baz's Evo, it looks like the GT is much better protected from undercar shrapnel - both by the splitter itself and by a metal rather than plastic panel.

Hope to post pix of the splitter soon...

Well I just got a royal shafting from the dealer for the assortment of nuts and washers .... £73 for a bag of metal!

Some of the parts have broken and seized up, others will need to be removed with force and will break, so needed them but at that price, I was amazed. Right, thats the last money they're getting out of me for at least a couple of weeks ...

i.r.o. £500 I fear

We know it's £187+VAT for the splitter itself, never mind the bracketry. £73 for the fittings :-/ The mounting unit is metal so won't be cheap and needs loads of wee fixing doofer to attach all that is required...
