Gonna go and have a look at this 328 since its only just down the road from me and around the same money as my Z3. I'm not desperate to change my car, but if I could find a perfect E46 then I'd consider it.

Whats everyones thoughts on this car?? I love those 18 inch radial alloys, nice colour combo too, but I think the only thing that would put me off the purchase is the lack of leather interior.

Nice motor. Seems a very good price with that kind of mileage. Ver low for a 2000 W.

I would hold out and look for leather

It makes all the difference and will help you sell it on

yeah think your right pete. in that sort of car. (ie the engine that preceeded the one in your car) you'd expect leather as standard.

i dont understand people buying these kind of bmw's from new and not paying the extra for leather. you've spent £30,000 whats another £1500???

i dont mind alcantara aswell though. id forgive someone buying from new with that. its nice though probably a bugger to keep clean

I had the cream interior in my coupe but had black
mats and never found it difficult to keep clean at all.

As per Pete, I would hold out for leather...but I would
also go for sports seats - personallyI find them
infinitely more comfortable than the standard ones.

I prefer the standard leather seats. Sports seat are good for the extra support when you want to put your foot down round country lanes but for longer motorway trips the std seats are more comfy. Like being sat on my leather suite at home!

IMHO

Wow Pete, that's a fantastic looking interior! Mine has beige leather, and is still looking great after almost 200k.

Good old armchairs, perfect for driving across the country non-stop. Drove from Dundee to Stranraer, got out feeling great. Superb.

The sports seats are very nice as well though, sat in one at a club meet and was pleasantly surprised at hom comfy they are.
