When I moved my car today there was a trace of yellow in the snow after it had been running for about 10 mins , anyone got any ideas if it is coolant or where it might be leaking from. Please dont tell me its going to be expensive as i'm going on holiday in 7 weeks time and could do without a large bill just now

In all seriousness I'd be looking for neighbourhood cats, they may well have crept under the car for somewhere warm to sleep, and relieved themselves while there. Stick a drip tray under the car to see if it appears again.

power steering fluid is generally red.
Oil will range from golden to black.
Coolant could be a number of colours including wee coloured
Brake fluid is a golden colour.

Is there any sighn of fluid dripping from the car, if its running or not ? have you check all your levels to see if there is any loss, turn the car to face the other way and see if there is leakage when faced the other way, i think its more than likely a cat that has gone under the car to warm itself from the engine and needed to spend a penny.
