Since the last drive & dine to the Dyke Neuk near Morpeth was such a success (15 cars, 28 people) we have bowed to popular demand & arranged another.

This time it's a Sunday Lunch with 3 courses for £10 a head. Once again we have been offered the use of a separate room so we won't have to mix it with other customers. It's intended as a family day so feel free to bring spouses & kids along too.

You can view the menu choices here. A childrens menu is available if required - just let me know. P.M me with your menu choices & I'll let you know where to send the cheque.

As before it is intended to meet at the Travel Lodge, Seaton Burn (Junction of the A19/A1 north of Newcastle) at 12:00 with a departure time of 12:30 for a cruise to the pub. It's a different route to last time just to make it more interesting!

For those averse to convoys, you can meet us at the destination at 12:50 - directions on request.

We look forward to seeing you.

Sorry mate, can't do this one.
My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with a girl who saw Ferris pass-out at 31 Flavours last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

Just to stick this topic back up for the coming weekend and to give you fair warning there will be 2 interlopers down on Sunday whether this event is still on for Sunday or not

Car needs a run and we enjoyed the last Sunday roast at Kielder so this is a good excuse to do a cross border raid and pig out at the same time

Ok, we've got 17 signed up for this + Malcolm & co.

Meet at the Travel Lodge Seaton Burn at 12:00 - 12:15. We aim to be leaving by 12:30 to get to the Dyke Neuk by 1:00pm.

See you all there.

Thanks for a good afternoon Andy, shame the weather went against things and only 14 could make it.

Here's a few pics taken in the car park.

Hope that you all got home safely, (including the Fiesta driver).

Cheers,

Mick

Sorry for not making it but the missing 2 from over the border were stuck at home as only bus routes and main roads were at the passable with care stage until late evening, even then it wasn't that safe to negotiate (we had a foot of snow to contend with and that was just to get out of the drive.

Glad some made it and had a good lunch !

When we say the snow we thought you might have trouble!

Floody's M3 & my Six were more than a little frisky!
