Manta B&C's are great looking cars. I like the coupe shape better. I had a tatty Cavalier coupe 16 years ago, which I put the Manta C dash in. Was a fun car until a jeep crashed into the back of it up Annfield Plain.
I was a bit startled to see the back seat come forward and the petrol tank right behind me! Maybe I'll buy a Manta one day (if there's any left).

Cheers,

Shaun

I got an E34 520i when I was 25. I followed that up two years later with an E32 730i, then two years later an E39 528i, then two years later another E32 730, then an E38 750iL and three years later an E21 323i. What am I doing wrong?

I get stick at work from my collegues about its an old mans car. I just keep saying that its a sign of a mature man that likes quality motors.

Though it all boils down to the walnut dash ive been told, so get rid of that and then your young again...

what replacements can you get for the walnut dash? peer pressure, im only 24 and now i old...desperate measures...

Oooh, nasty modifications. I love the claims about the LED replacement bulbs - '15 times brighter than the equivalent filament bulb' - I've been researching these for years, and none give a suitable intensity to fulfil this claim. Besides, the brightest ones are only bright over about 6 degrees, meaning viewing from the side is useless. This also means the light appears as a single point, not across the whole reflector like a filament bulb does.

Ah -- if you'd been here for a while, you might remember when it said: E38 750iL, E24 635CSi, E21 323i Baur and Z1. So I've definitely been doing something wrong.

Ciao,

I'm 44 and on my second 5 series.

I'm looking towards the 7 series now, may be more suitable for an old git like me

Best Wishes

i know the feeling too,

though they know the young ones as when you only put a tenner in an empty tank and then conk out on the 4court b4 leaving, they know that you cant afford to run it....Well thats me anyway, i hate filling it right up, i like to go to the cheap petrol stations then fill up..

Does anyone know any pics of alternative dash (walnut, birch, oak etc) cheers
