The clubs AGM is on May 13th and is in Birmingham.
Im thinking of heading over to it.
Do many people here go? What are they like?
According to the venues website it is a hop, skip and jump from the airport. Where is there nice to stay in this area?

I'll do whatever I can to help you out with transport etc K, if you really are coming over give me a ring.

I would guess accomodation close by would be expensive, but I am only guessing, as I live so close it wouldn't be an issue for me.

Seriously! National Motorcycle Museum is on the roundabout over the M42 opposite the NEC, so is just down the road from the airport - BUT the only local hotels are expensive as they are where they are. Coventry isn't that far away - try a B&B?

I'll be going K.

If your on for a few bevvy's & possibly a ruby, we could have you staying down my way, I'll get you back to the airport no problem.

If your on your own, I'll shift the kids around and you can stay here, not enough room to put your good lady & son up without making it look like were camping, but accomodation will certainly be cheaper in Worcester as opposed to Birmingham.

If there is a pose of you we'll need to have a look around as far as transport goes, see who else wants to play, as I can only get four in the car.

Best Wishes

Nigel

I take it you are going to fly into brum ?

If it makes a big difference to you ( and it can), East Midlands airport is only about 40 miles up the road from Birmingham airport, and as I'll pick you up, it may save you a few bob on air fare

If its the same price, and I'm picking you up, brums nearer, but if its stupid money, go for east midlands.

I flew to jockstrapland recently, 280 return from brum (ba), 65 return from east midlands (bmi baby).

Best Wishes

May 13th?, that would be a Saturday wouldn't it.. The Saturday I'll be driving in the opposite direction unfortunatly, all the way to 'Jockstrapland' for a week (Mull to ne exact).

What a bummer.. and yep, the inlaws live in Wolvo'

She bought her own.. I drive it.. (she does sometimes when she wants to practice), good tradeoff I think

Trust the club to pick a date for the AGM when I go on holliday.. Would have been a good laugh - a ruby and a few pints of guiness Maybe next year - unless there are plans for another get together at any time.
