The Winter Sun

   Does anybody know why the winter sun is so much more invasive on your
vision than summer sun, which to all intents and purposes should be
brighter?

I was out in the Z1 yesterday, and the sun in my eyes was really
unpleasant. Yet I happily drive all summer in the Z1 without really
noticing the effect of the sun.

Any ideas? Or am I just loopy?

	As Dutch says it appears closer to the horizon and is there fore more in your line of sight than summer when it's higher in the sky
