Got It Cosmos Black M3 SMG - S Plate with every extra under the sun and 86k miles to boot ! I hope the mileage isn't going to prove a problem, as it has a full BMWSH and an Inspection II at 81k miles. Here's hoping for 5 years+ of enjoyable driving. |

Gaz. It would be better to buy UK based as you get the comeback if anything goes wrong. M3s are well expensive to service over standard BMW's and I know I wouldn't want to chance any problems. ps. I'm selling mine e36 evo convertible) with 4 months BMW warranty and MOT insurance and I'm open to haggling!!! £17,500

for pricing you can have a look at www.mobile.de but you'd be better off buying an M3 over here, as although you'll pay more, you'll get your money back when you come to sell, where as LHD is a personal thing, plus the savings are not that great, and with a car like the M3 you need to ensure the service history has been kept with, and owners in Germany have been known to just get it serviced but not logged down as a record, they're not as enfatic as us! |

I am looking to buy an E36 over the next few months, and was thinking about buying one in Germany, to take advantage of the higher population of them over there and hopefully keener pricing. Does anyone know a) whether there are any pitfalls with this (apart from ending up with a LHD) and b) if you know how to find them advertised. I don't speak German, which is clearly a disadvantage. |
