seat belt jammed

   Hi guys had a problem with seatbelt the  buckle slid down through opening side of seat it was quite dificult to pull back out . does any one have any ideas to prevent this, I seem to remember on some seat belts a  plastic stud through the webbing maby this stops  it sliding down any
advice to prevent this would be appreciated . E34
