Really pleased that you've finally got to the bottom of your non-starting issue Ben, indeed highly frustrating!

Have to agree that all the info that has been passed over should be published in some form or other, an e-book perhaps?

Courtesy lights - havn't had the problem so can't offer much advice, other than to check everything with a multi-meter, continuity etc.

HOpe you also resolve this one soon.

Btw, I'd be tempted to speak to the auto-sparky that caused much of your woes & get him back to fix your courtesy lights issue out for FREE - the least he can do for you I'd have thought.

Then again, you probably don't want him anywhere near your car again - just thinking of your bank balance, thats all Ben!

Btw, HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL!!

Dave, unfortunately it doesnt work like that in London!

But I have let him know what he did, and thats all I can do.

Anyway, the car works and it could have cost me far more, had the gearbox had to come out for the flywheel teeth to be replaced, luckily it was a straight forward fix.

Thke care,

-Ben
