Don't know either of them, although I'm, sure others will have more local knowledge, but I do know John Roche in Gort, recommended on here. Top man if you don't mind travelling a bit out of town. |

Hi all, for some reason the links yez are putting up don't work for me. Am in Galway city & am still on the lookout for a decent bloke/garage to do the servicing without ripping me off. Anyone have anything to say about a place called Galway Car Care in Salthill? or another dude in Liosban Inds. estate going under the name of AutoMotion? cheers! bingus666 |

Hello everyone, I am a newbie and just wanted to introduce myself. I am willing to buy a 318i E30 from 1990 and since the car has a lot of miles and will need some work I was wondering whether you had some bm specialists in the Cork area. . . Thank you very much for any help, D. |

Ballybrit Tyre & Exhaust in Oldenway Business Park in Ballybrit (beside Windsor). Ask for Carl. 091-760760 Digweed and myself use them all the time, and find them excellent to deal with. |

I got Hella Angel Lights for my 520 from Otto in Galway this morning; 2 headlights + 2 wirings kits = €624.36 incl Vat. Mentioned the club, but they told me the lights were usually €270+Vat each and wiring kits €38+Vat each. Had quoted me €220/€38 even before I mentioned the club.

I used GSF in Dublin for the first time this week, ordering a cat for the 523i. I called them on Monday and ordered. They told me they had the cat in stock but had to order in an additional bracket overnight. Yesterday afternoon (Wednesday) I had a message from DHL to say they were delivering the part at my house. I mentioned the club membership and its listed on the invoice but the rate of discount isn't shown. The guy said they would offer it at trade price and it looks like roughly a 10% discount from the price they mentioned before I mentioned the club. Happy with that. Cat, bracket and courier delivery for something like €340, delivery being €15. |

It could be; like I said, I haven't had a German car before, so I haven't used him. Spotted the place when I was getting tracking done across the road from him about 6 months ago.
