Well, it's not yet, but I'd like to know if anyone has raced one before, or has prepared one for the track at least.

Can anyone let me know who the would recommend for modifying the 3.5L M30 engine and all the other aspects of getting a car sorted? I'm also in need of wheel advice, as the 16" E39 rims are not up to track fun at all.

Any help/advice would be greatly received (apart from change of car...I have a soft spot for her!).

Cheers.

also Walloth and nesch raced and prep'd a car for their race series in Germany.
As for tuning the M30, retro classics did a feature on it not long ago?
Plus Total BMW featured a race prep'd and winning e28, I'll see which issue it was and if needed, scan it and send it to you?

Alternatively seek out info on the Alpina tuned M30 engines with their Mahle pistons, modified head, cams etc. 260bhp from these boys, and that is a mild state of tune.
