..feckless eejits.. how many times do you have to tell them. Every year I get a provisional date in July for the next one just so that we can secure a date, but it is never confirmed until after the racing calendar is sorted, usually around the end of the year.. but the magazine printers always seem to pounce on the first date they get as if it is set in stone.
We can't blame our office this time though.. they know it is the 10th.

Sheesh!

I think you'll find that the advert says all dates are 'subject to confirmation' or some such thing...........

Please note that the Shelsley hill climb price is also incorrect - still to be confirmed but Waddo thinks it will be more like 80.00! Me thinks this will be an interesting event......

Perhaps better just to say April-July-August Untill an exact confirmed date IS known. The Mag only prints the info as first advised and continues untill told another date.

Everyone involved in events, just wants to give interested people as much notice as possible, to get a well supported meeting, and reduce as much as possible any financial loss------which could mean the event is cancelled.Very little reward for the unpaid organizers who give so much.

The dates thing is always difficult, we are given dates which are then altered by the circuits as shall we say more important ones are slotted in.

Top of the roost is the British Grand Prix the positioning of which then has a knock on effect to all other meetings and sometimes other circuits.

We feel it is important for the years dates to be made known around Xmas it certainly seemed to help last year in making sure we acheived a good turn out at each event.

If you are keen to get as good turn out as possible I think one thread somewhere (here?) with all the latest dates and times, indication if places are still available AND a very short description of what is happening on the day would make a big difference. It certainly would to me........
