Ok boys and girls, you asked, so I'll try to deliver....

Next weekend, Sunday, 20th November 2005.  I have arranged a meet for another club you know I participate in, and there could be as many as 10 cars coming to this meet from that club.

The majority are Audi's, but there may be the resident Ferrari F360 if we're lucky and another member has a Skoda Fabia vRS that will shock an awful lot of people if they try to take it on....

The meet details are as follows:

11.30am Meet at Haggerston Castle Layby on A1
12.00noon depart for Lindesfarne Causeway over to Holy Island

Plenty of opportunity for photo's etc on Holy Island.

Food can be had at The Ship Inn or there are a variety of cafe's, none of which we'd need to book for.

Then depart for Seahouses which is about 19 miles South of Holy Island on the Northumberland Coastal Route where Milo's mate will provide Fish & Chip's from his shop (yes, you have to pay naturally!) - note to BMW Car Club members...Milo is a member of the other club and he'll be coming to this meet.

So, are you up for it?  Sign up below!

I'n in!!!!!  Driving

Chris, I'm sure you have.... but have you checked the times of the tide at Holy Island?  I only ask because I went there once, and didn't check, so I didn't get there. If you see what I mean.c

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with a girl who saw Ferris pass-out at 31 Flavours last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

The tide times are fine - that one was raised a while ago...

You can't really miss Haggertson Castle Layby, it's a layby with picnic tables on the Southbound side of the road.

OK.  But where on the A1 is it?  North of Newcastle?  Near Morpeth?

Here's a map showing where the layby is.  It also has the postcode on it to help anyone using a SatNav device.

Top man AndyS!

How sure are you?

Floody & E46ACS....myself and at least one other from the other club will join you at Washington Services Northbound for the drive up.

It's looking good for the Ferrari 360 F1 attending too.
