I'd better 'prep' the car, eh Uwe!

What for??

What do you mean "what for"?

You wouldn't want me to shame you all and turn up in a filthy motor - would you??

Just want to say thanks to Kevin for offering me the spare "passenger ride" ticket he had. I am looking forward to getting a ride round

I'll be there between 7.30 and 8.00 hopefully!

Im looking forward to putting some faces and cars to some names/handles from these sites.

I know you have to book beforhand, but does anyone know if the organisers sell more tickets on the day if its not sold out? Kevin said earlier that some 120 cars have booked so I suspect a "no" will be the answer!

Still with plenty of cars to look at and with good weather it should be a cracking day!

HaaHaa

Well, as you're not playing, there's no point in me going round in circles either - give the rest a chance I say!

I shall be there in the CSL.

As far as I know, they will be OK with passenger rides on the day, but not necessarily in the M5 Ring Taxi or the E30 M3 Touring Car.  Hope so, because my Dad is coming along, and I've got my son coming in the afternoon too, after the morning at school, as I promised him a ride round Silverstone GP circuit!

Pray for the weather though, the CSL ain't neat and tidy when it's wet!

Sam.

I am thinking of leaving the sport at home for Silverstone, I have spend a long time cleaning/polishing the damn thing, it just smeers and scratches so easily. I am really cheesed off with it, so much so I'm thinking of getting it re-painted. I have no idea whats gone wrong with it, as it wasn't like this for a couple of weeks after I collected it from the bodyshop. All the trims aint fitting right either, and theres bits and pieces which are appearing and I'm noticing which really makes me unhappy.

Anyone want to buy it??? (Joking!) It'll get sorted.

I take back the recommendation of the bodyshop I used, untill I've spoken to them about it ofcourse.

Hi Phil,

Yes, thanks I am in contact with him already. I have been hesitating with getting that done as the cost is pretty expensive. That said, if it sorts it out, I will be a happy sheppy!

It would be a right pain getting it all stripped again and re-painted, and a waiste of time if Paul from Miracle can sort it out.

I was in a cheesed off mood last night, and take back what I said about the bodyshop. Jason did a beautifull spray job on the car. The car seemed to attract alot of attention at Silverston today too, so it can't be all that bad.

I want to also say a big "Thank You" to Kevin who took me out in his Cecotto and Ian (unsure if hes on this site?) with the green E36 328i in AC Schnitzer logos. That car was amazing. Branded Untouchables did a superb job with setting up the suspension for Ian. I didn't know an E36 could handle like that. I was impressed with the Cecottos grip too.

It also nice to meet a few more of you too. I think I met you too Uwe, well shook your hand anyway!

It was a shame about some "offs" and breakdowns which caused a few frustrating short sessions though.

I enjoyed myself anyway!

Just like to say that everyone seemed to be having loads of fun when I dropped in today.

Didn't stay too long - well, didn't need to as Sabine very quickly picked up the lines once Barry & I had showed her the way round the GP circuit a couple of times

A few stoppages - but couldn't see much/any gravel in the pitlane?!

A good day seemed to be had by all - and the weather held!

Well done chaps - keep it up.

Sabine was pretty cool, and sideways at most corners in the complex with the M5.
Didn't get to ride in the DTM M3 in the end,due to to a club screw-up.
Highlight of the day was approx 10 laps as passenger in Wayne's mighty V8 M3.The car has so much grunt,it made M Coupes on Hanger Straight look like asthmatic Vauxhall Vivas. I'm fully fledged V8 convert now Cheers Wayne.
