I know this has probably been asked before, but does anyone know the part No for the red/black stripe that goes along the front and rear bumpers of the E30 M3.

I'm sure there was an American site that had a whole list of part No for the E30 M3, but Im dammed if I can find it.

I need the red strip No.

Thanks

I am told to go to one of these car advert sign sticking places and get some red stripes (cut yourself) for little money there.
The BMW stripes are not very good quality (being a bit old by now) and can come off very soon.
E61 520d, slow and buzzy but my wallet likes the mpg.....

True - my middle front didn't last a year and they are also very expensive for what they are

Try "Fablon"! I bought a sheet of Red for 99p and only used a tiny bit to replace just the middle front....

....... and no-one at Gaydon even noticed!

Go on, admit it, you didn't did you??!

I'm not entirely sure as I've not replaced mine yet.

But I'd personally start by asking in any auto bodyshop.  3M provide loads of materials to the car paint trade, so I'm sure any decent bodyshop/paint supplier would be able to order it in (or may even stock it).  I've seena  photo of it though and IIRC it comes on a roll like cellotape.

What. It was (still is?) used to cover work surfaces in - say - a kitchen. Comes in a roll, 18" wide, by 3'/6' long, cut off what you need.

Got mine from Wilkinsons.

Whatever next?? As if things weren't bad enough after the catastrophic non availability of the red throttle cable grommet.

Guys - I'm gonna sell my Sport - any more of this and she'll turn in to a 316...

Humm! And as my M3 isn't a sport, it shouldn't have them on anyway - apparently.

- bang goes the originality!

I have all genuine stripes on my bumpers, although the red came off with the tape you pull off when you apply it on the two front corner ones. These must have been very old.

I would goto the graphics place next time.
