Check out this site - my only question is - should it have been allowed to happen?

www.britwellmotorco.co.uk

Check out the L plate m3 convertable.

Makes me shudder just thinking of it....

"Probably the best M3 around"

In which universe would that be then?  There will be a few on here who might take issue with that statement, never mind the travesty that the car itself represents.

Nowt so queer as folk!

We have commented on yellow E30 m3's as we see them for sale.

Personally I like yellow cars, but somehow on an E30 it just doesn't do it.

Is what legal!! There are some L plated cabs out there and obviously some touring too!

I knew before clicking on the link the garage would be in Slough! Just the mention of 'Britwell' for me conjures up images of a small ghetto, boyracers tearing up and down the street and not a place to visit after dark....

...to be fair though, the local police and community leaders have and are doing well in that area and not all the estate has a reputation, there are some good parts.

Apologies to those who may live there, but Britwell is known for miles along the M4 corridor

When i say "is it legal" i meant to paint an e30 m3 cab that colour, and put those wheels on it!!

Plate wise, i know of a 3 door cossie on a plate much later than than the last one rolled off the line as it wasnt ref=gistered unr=til much later.  It wasnt yellow tho.

Is it right?

I don't have a huge problem with the yellow, though I think it would be better on an E36 or newer....

Wheels are a travesty though.

The L plate would be fine for a very late registered Cabriolet, and as pointed out above some tourings, usually very high spec ones.

That yellow turd is the same one that was on Ebay - about 3 times! Started @ £16k, then £8k and finally £3k. You can see it's the same one, has that awfull, cheap number plate "BAD KA"

Mind you, the first car you see when the page loads is a Lexus, so it's not surprising to see the state of the other cars...

and..........Why have a Convertable with a hard-top?

Why not just buy a PROPER M3?
After all, they come with one as standard!

The worst thing for me, aside from the state of the poor car, is that someone out there actually thought it looked good. Beauty might be in the eye of the beholder, but bad taste is bad taste.

Oh I don't know, YELLOW is meant to be one of the safest car colours to have.

Let's be honest, if you were in this car no-one would be seen dead anywhere near you!
