any of you chaps out there suggest a few good roads anywhere in the north east for me to take in this weekend?

was at the nurburg ring a month ago and getting withdrawl symptoms now.

Whole heartedly recommend the B6278 from Consett down through Stanhope, then right towards Middleton In Teesdale joining the B6276 to Brough.

There's always the A686 of course (with plenty of dayglo vehicles looking after the public safety!) from Penrith back over to Hexham.

I'd also recommend B1248 from Pickering to Beverley ........ the list is endless in our part of the world.

i took a drive out last week and sampled the B6278 and B6276. sweet roads.

out in the middle of nowhere, with some great corners. watch the sheep though!

We were on some good roads around Keilder last weekend.
