Mike - you've done a very good job of that indeed.

I think it should be pointed out to anyone that is thinking of just getting the Sampler Kit and expecting it to yield the results Mike has achieved is a non-starter.....

Looking at his results above you can be sure he has put a lot of time and effort in.  Zymol and any car detailer will be the first to tell you 90% of the shine is achieved in the preparation, not the application of the wax.

That looks like one very well prepared E36 to me.

You've a right to be proud of it.  It would put many a new red car to shame.

good job mike!

wouldn't want to be getting in the way of your right arm now...

Vintage is applied by hand (literally) isn't it? Mucky job?

On your wheelarch rebates, what did you use to bring up the finish there?

I think it very much helps with prep work if you use a good leather, religiously and after every wash too.

just wash them

not put any wax on them at all

dont use a leather now

just brought one of those filters which goes inline with your hose

so you dont have to leather the car off

just rinse and walk away
