Topic: *Free* 95 M3 Backbox Posted: 07-August-2005 at 08:14 |
Backbox is free to good home, outer casing is cracked, inner is fine.
Free to anyone, as long as they collect it. Otherwise, i'll just hack
it up and bin it.
Pretty sure these bolt onto other E36s ?

How the new backbox working out, soundwise ? In the market for a
new one, was looking at either Eisenmann or the UUC one- but
unfortunately doesn't fit Euro cars - holding out to see if they can
provide one to fit - Robbie ? As they sound glorious.

Supersprint exhaust is going great. Not much difference in sound from
the standard exhaust, slightly deeper base tone (if that makes sense).
Car feels quicker too. Also, its alot lighter than the standard
backbox, Supersprint weighs 18Kilos - standard one seems alot more.
I won't do anything with my old exhaust till next weekend, if theres no takers, I'm gonna cut and dump it.

You will have no shortage of takers for the backbox, as long as
somebody genuinely needs it. Unless you chop it big style, you may get
it to fit anything other than an M3. If nobody wants it, it would be a
shame to throw it out - I know it's very large and very heavy to
store.
I think I'm after a screamer, something to really amplify the raspy
noise from the M, I know it won't be subtle, but I drive the saloon, so
it's pretty Q anyway.
