Sorry about the pictures...The one I was on about is a 10p sized transistor mounted on a metal board about the size of a box of matches, with 3 contacts at the end. Please see my other Blower transistor topic The catalogue I am looking at details FOUR transistors that Horsetan recommends... Which one is the correct one??? 1. 2N3055 ( NPN 60V 15A 115W TO-3) 2. 2N3055 (NPN 100V 15A 117W TO-3 Q05) 3. 2N3055H (NPN 60V 15A 115W TO-3) 4. 2N3055H (NF/ S-L 100V 15A 117W TO-3 Q05)
please see here: http://cpc.farnell.com/jsp/endecaSearch/searchPage2.jsp?Ntt= 2n3055&Nty=1&N=411&Ntk=gensearch (type 2N3055 in to the search) any advances?, thanks Horsetan for your reply -Ben Edited by phb10186 |

Great link Ivan, my blue E23 needed two new transistors, and the boards they are mounted on, to get the fan speed control working. my silver e23 currently under renovation requires a blower motor, and I will be replacing the trannies at the same time.
