For the benefit of the hard of understanding (Hello Mell ), I'm only a couple of miles outside the city boundary and had offered to host the meet at my place.  There's more than enough tarmac for the number of cars that will turn up, and a large bbq in the back garden.

If you prefer the car park of a stately home I won't be offended but you'd better get permission from the NTS - they're not too keen on parties taking up car park spaces to the exclusion of paying tourists...

Right how about we plan to go to Chas for BBQ

then onwards for a run (cruise, pose)

If the weather aint looking good then we can resort to the normal pub lunch somewhere

yeh, that's waht I was meaning to begin with, we need a back up venue, I don't really have any suggestions yet, but like all the other ones, so we should maybe agree on somewhere? weather dependant of course.

Chas, can you let us all know your address, i don't have sat nav so may need an idiot guide how to get there

There's a local county pub a mile down the road (Irvine Arms) which does good and inexpensive food if the weather isn't great, but we could also use the house (if you take your shoes off ).

We're hosting a bbq for 40 people the previous day so I'm sure we can cope with the numbers that normally attend BM meets..

I won't post address details here but you can speak to me at either event this weekend or PM me nearer the time.
