I've got 10% of labour at both Barons BMW in Farnborough and Heathrow BMW.  Now I'm not yet a member of the Car Club but these discounts were given as part of BMW Fourplus policy.  How many of you got this discount rather than a discount cos of Club memebership?

Elms of Bedford - NOTHING !
Wollaston of Northampton - Nothing for M Power cars, discounts for others.
Bridgegate of Derby - Gave me 10% the first time, then only 5 % the second. Guess it depends on who you talk to !

No discount from John Clark in Aberdeen for me.

I was told that they don't have an agreement with any motoring clubs.

I have read on a different thread that discount is available on AC Schnitzer and Alpina parts but I guess that's for everyone who goes in the door, not just BMWCC members.

I have always received a 10% discount on parts from Lind BMW in Ipswich. The parts department always have a very helpful attitude. No idea re. servicing discounts from Lind. I get a 100% labour discount by doing the work myself, at home!

Castle BMW in York gave me a 5% discount on an autobox switch when I said I was a member, but said they gave no discount on servicing as this was discounted with the four plus scheme.

Williams of Rochdale gives a 10% discount on
parts - I had hoped for more. But they proved very good when I booked in
an E30 325 Sport for an Inspection II under the Four Plus scheme - not
only was the discount much more generous, they made other
(discretionary) efforts to cut the bill.

"Barons of Farnborough's policy is that discounts such as this are at the Parts Manager's discretion. Currently he says Yes. "

Same policy at LIND Colchester. I happened to get served by the Parts Manager yesterday and asked. At my discretion he said, and promtly allowed me 10% on my purchase.

I'm kicking myself for not asking before now.

If you are served by a bod does it follow that you have to ask to speak to the manager each time you want 10% off?
