Yes, I have ordered a set of Vredestein Sportrac 2 for my car, and my
mate ordered a set of tyres for his Merc, and another set for his wife's
car. Seems to be a good service, reliable, honest, etc. No complaints
here!

I've not used mytyres or blackcircles.om, but have found their sites useful for tyre info, prices etc.

Most local tyre dealers will be as competitive, if not a little cheaper.

When you select your location on these sites it will usually give you a garage, a postcode etc. If you recognise the area, this will often give you a good clue who the dealer actually is. Ring them up & get a quote, then compare it to mytyres/black circle etc. If the web is cheaper, tell them where you got your quote & crash, the price will come down!!
Any probs, you've got a local supplier who had all your cash, not just a commision, if they give good service you'll go back.

Just my thoughts & experience thus far!

Dave,

That's exactly what I did when I was in Dublin and I got a better deal from their 'recomended' installer, and the piece of mind of dealing with a person as opposed to a website should there have been a problem.

The world is a tragedy to those who feel, but a comedy to those who think.

I've never used Vredesteins' Sportrac 2's, but have used their Ultracs.
Excellent underrated tyres IMHO!
Good choice.

Only problem is a lot of people seem to have cottoned on to Vredestein and prices have shot up.18 months ago I put Ultracs on my M3 all round-£98 a corner. Now they are up at £135 a corner.

Khumos don't seem a bad buy at the minute though.
