There is no key slot in the alarm siren.
It is a BMW 3T SIREN, p/no: 93.37.0.000.004
The siren is made in England - (maybe thats part of the problem.......!)

The LED in the top ventilation grill is just that, an led.
Tomorrow I'll trace the supply black cable from the siren & see if there is an inline fuse anywhere.

Any other suggestions chaps?

Sorry i meant only cars fitted with the fullcloser have the led button, on all others its just an led,does yours have f/c?   but i did think all had the key on the siren to turn it on or off.

If you press & hold the fob button to lock the car/set the alarm/activate the immobiliser, the windows & sunroof will also close. Guess that is f/c?

I have since discovered that just pressing the 'tit' on the remote once will achieve the same thing - no need to hold onto the tit!
Not had a chance to investigate the siren 'failure' furhter.
