Is this the wolf in sheep's clothing that you mentioned to me on the phone?

With only 95bhp under the bonnet it's more of a nasty hamster in sheeps clothing.

Kev.. I thought you would have been cute enough to get the club to invoice you the amount you have paid us as 'driver training'... Self emp?.. use a car for business?.. the revenue will allow a reasonable amount of expenditure for training.

no-ones going to look at you in your modern and powerful E28.. we are bringing an entry level E21 316 for all you rich folk to laugh at!

Anyway, petrol... A1/A66 Scotch Corner roundabout... A167 south of Darlington... B1263 Scorton... pretty much all the routes into Croft have a filling station less than 10 mile before you get there.

Cheers Floody!

I'll be sticking out like a sore thumb too since apparently ill be the only one there in an E28. We shall see if it can manage those corners like the E30 M3's (somehow i doubt it, but it will be fun trying )

Does anyone know where the nearest filling station is to the circuit? I think filling up as close as possible will be wise ;)

If you want help containing some of that excitement, you can come look at my 320td Compact

I did 3 BDD's last year, my first at Cadwell, 2nd at Croft and 3rd at Donnington.

They are brilliant and the organisation/discipline is fantastic.  Only problem I had was my front brake pads died half way through the afternoon at Donnington!

We just need the same weather as last yeat now.

Boost baby, BOOST!

I appreciate the vote of confidence and am really looking forward to it!!!

Thats a good sign.. I remember nearly shidding myself the first time I did Brians day at Silverstone.. I actually get more nervous now about organising the thing than I ever did driving..

As a first timer im actually starting to brick it a little now. Nervous excitement!

This might seem like a stupid question, but am i likely to need a fully functioning left indicator? In true Sods law style the switch has carked it and im not sure if i can get it seen to in time.

Nick - I had forgotten about Gwants 'bad beer'......I still think it was the other 10 needed to "get rid of the taste" that caused the problem the following morning, or was the day.

Mark ---- it would appear that Nick is resting on his laurels now he has made the numbers and has passed the baton to us. My vote is something to eat at the pub rather than a barbie so no risk of food poinsoning (certainly when I do a barbie everyone ends up with food poisoning, mind you, the nett result is the same as a single pint of Gwants beer. !).  Then stagger back for a few tinnies at the circuit before getting some beauty sleep in readiness for the fun on track.

I was looking forward to a couple of jars of Gwants 'bad beer' in the pub... but if you want something more in keeping with the theme of the event.. we could always dress up in Leder-Hosen, drink out of big glasses, stand on the tables and laugh loudly at all the Porsche drivers ( Doc and his mates)... just like they do in the Pisten-Klause at the 'ring.

..or we could take a few tinnies and have a barbie at the circuit.

.. basically, I have planned nowt.. I shall leave the festivity sorting to you and Kev... The circuit facilites are all available if we want them.. last time, me and the lads kipped on airbeds in the pit garages.
