   Just in case anyone has same problem, bought a 528 with the plastic stub that pipe to overflow bottle connects to broken.
Took it to local rad specialists, AEM (St Georges, Telford 01952 613498) and they drilled stub out, put a threaded metal pipe in with araldite, pressure tested it works fine.  For �20 far cheaper than new rad!
