You make it sound like there is something wrong with Slayer.
I've been a fan since about 1987 and have seen them four or five times!

Nothing wrong with Slayer..or Saxon, Iron Maiden, Motorhead as far as I am aware...Used to go to Donnington for the Monsters of Rock concerts all the time on my 900.

ooops..letting out my headbanging habit from my younger days again....

How about AC/DC then?

Used to have all their albums too....ah the memories of having the neighbours banging on the walls, complaining that their furniture was bouncing all over the place and their pictures and mirrors were falling off the walls...

I have a number of their albums but was never a really big fan as I preferred proper heavy metal. Also I never really got the point of Angus Young trying to look like a schoolboy!

Used to have Black Sabbath albums too..and Rainbow (not the kids programme either)....mmmm how things have changed. I listen to CD's by Vangelis, ATB, Enya, Jean Michel Jarre and others now.

Mellowed a bit in the old age.

Just done something seriously impulsive....

Just ordered a new bed for myself, the chunky pine one I have is going into the spare bedroom and the new one is something I have always wanted.

A metal 4 poster.

It will be about as close as I am ever likely to get to romance

.....oh poo....

Posty just been, I got to go for an echocardiogram next month....

I had one of those before, doesn't hurt or anything like that but it does tend to put the proverbial fear of God up you...

Don't knoe Slayer, have to find some to listen to. My musical tastes run from Simon and Garfunkel and The Carpenters to Black Sabbath, Deep Purple. Only type I never really liked was opera.

I do like a good guitar bass beat, The Shadows, Duanne Eddy, Fleetwood Mac. Had complaints from my first wife that coming back from a solo shopping trip the windows were vibrating and she could here my music half a mile away. And the problem is ?????

Seen Slayer as well, at Donnington.
Also AC/DC (headlined '91) Mettalica, Thunder, Iron Maiden (headlined '92), Queensryche, Motley Crue, Kiss, and any others that appeared '91, '92.
Also seen Peter Green at the Redcar Bowl in '99 (the one from Fleetwood Mac, in his now 'Splinter Group' then with Cozy Powel on drums who was sadly killed a while ago. Alos playing with peter was Spike, who played keyboards for Queen (in the background of course)
