should this also not be only modded beemers for this show after all it aint a normal car show and is mostly for modded cars in the bodywork, ice and performance category, people like myself and others dont normally go to normal car shows for fear of being heckled by the way we choose to modify our cars,so just saying this is an ideal opertunity to show them off

it is more of a modded car show i agree,im not sure how many modded cars come on this site tho, think most keep there car standard, mine is schnitzer modded and getting new toys all the time bu tim not sure if my car is right for this kind of show.maybe if we got more details on what we need for the show we can sort it,im still up for it so you can keep my name down

I'd say focus has to be on modified cars, it is the focus of the show.

I'd say as long as the car is modified to a fair degree over the std: i.e. wheels, bodywork etc etc. Showing off OEM cars to the modded crowd wont attract much interest.

Yeah. I agree showing off standard cars wont be up to much, they probably would have seen loads on the motorway to the show  (but not as clean). Mine is schnitzer modded also .  Just hope the showground is in an ok state, or it will eat my front valance for breakfast

agree with m blur we dont want to look like a hendry bros showroom lol, know from experience that lots of bm drivers think you shouldnt touch the car, have had some real strange looks and abuse from people who dont like what i done to my car,end of the day its my choice some people like to be just that little bit different

The reverse is true at sth like F&M.. you need a modded car to stand out.. we have quite a few on this forum who would make up a good stand... othe rmbrs can then come along to the event and give support.

Good thing about only have 12 cars is that we can focus on them to get them looking top notch.

But is this to be an official BMWCCGB stand or simply sth like BMW Scottish-modders...

In saying that the odd std M car like Wendy's EVOSport would still look good in there..

I guess we make up a list.. if there are more than 12 cars then we vote for our favs.

So let's build a list and then see who can a) come and b)wants to come. If we have more than 12 (unlikley) then we vote.

Hopefully other mbrs will come to have a gander too.

We also need to firm up our slot with F&M this week and then organise polish, car shampoo, chamois leathers etc.

If we had a lap top then we could show film footage collected so far - Stephen - what do you think?

Pls wait until we all hear back from Tommy regarding attending the event, we can't decided until we know how many places we have if any.

Thanks.

Will do. I've spoken to Tommy but I know he's pushed for time -however hopefully we can confirm this ASAP. A few of us have now spoken to the F&M office  so hopefully we can confirm details etc.

pete, out of 7 cars on page 1 list, are these cars modified in as,ice systems, non factory bodykits, fancy paintjobs? as if there and no offence intented by this, kinda standard looking beemers, then dont you think the stand will look boring?it is a modified car show and going by most users on here, most kinda keep there beemers very supple, only a few of us are into the lexus light, bodykitted, big spoilered cars

I also think M cars like Paul's superb CSL will gather more than enough interest and has enough std trick stuff to woo crowds plus he has beeeeeeg Brembos on to.
