Finally got some warm sunshine at last

Been out shopping (completed the shopping that was interupted on Tuesday), changed the bed and got the washing machine going....tis nice to be home

The bells at York Minster are working overtime today too and the town center was crowded with tourists so came home a bit sooner than planned. Think I might have overdone things though but I am not the sort to just sit on rear and do nothing..regardless of health worries.

been lovely here all day (even though i only saw the blue skies form the comfort of my bed) good to know you're up and about Ally - you should be sitting out in the garden sunning yourself with a nice glass something and a good book for company.

the rest of the gang must have headed out for the day. and i'm amazed this thread is still alive... i probably jinxed it now... might be back on later. take care

mmm it is a bit odd that the thread is still running, considering past threads...I doubt you have jinxed it though Owen.

We had a couple of quick but heavy showers here this afternoon but it was a nice day all the same.

I shall be being lazy tomorrow, got all housework done today before the nurse came round to give me my injection...looking like a walking dartboard now

Is it a bird, a plane, no. it's a nonymouse! Just passing through before Wendy wants phone line back!

Aware of heavy showers, weather much same here, nice sunshine, Wendy sent me out to get wheelybin, so I went in shirt sleeve order, halfway there it hammered down. Was tempted to hide in bin till it stopped but i'dve never got out again, lol!

There is another variation (popular in certain parts of Belfast, amongst others):

"If you can't beat 'em, arrange to have them beaten"

Leccy blanket makes life more comfy, hot choccy helps the pills go down and stay down easier...

Overslept this morning so they must have worked well

ok, just had email from Belgium, says he's classic car enthusiast, wants to see a picture of a Vauxhall Royale as he's looking for an MG Midget(???)he could fetch it easily as he regularly comes to Maidstone so could call in while he's here. By my map Maidstone is 200+ south and east of Telford, is it me or is he crazier than I am?
