..lived there for several years, and have seen the smog - not very nice. Especially when you open the door on a morning and the air is thick with the smell of sulphur..

saying all that, I did actully like the place and might have to wander back one day to see if any off it has changed (Albert Park for one).

That sulphurous smell *may* have come from those rotton eggs I asked Chris to chuck at your windows while you were in beddy-byes

Sadly I have a bit of a southerner accent, since I lived in the sunny south before I moved up here this January, but I'm sure the lads will show you all the best places and teach you all the lingo you will ever want, Owen. You will, I'm sure get a very warm welcome.

Thanks, needed an airfreshener - made up for the smell of blocked drains and the local drop outs spilling their guts after a night on the meths..

canny - moderatly tolerable

gan canny - look after your general health and well being

ah dinnet nah wot yis is on aboot - i am unable to comprehend what the currnet subject matter of the converstion is?

gannin oot on the tap....gettin a bit of a lash on - i am partaking in a light beverage and going to have an enjoyable evening
