During those moments of quiet contemplation and attempting to understand things of greater importance ( in other words when I am bored!) I've contemplated ;

Can you daydream at night?

Can you have nightmares during the day?

Can daylight robbery occur at night?

If smoking is so bad how come it cures ham?

If its neither here nor there then where is it?

When someone says, "Don't mention it" its too late - its already been said!!!

A troubled mind maybe but I need answers!

Not sure you can daydream at night, but you can definately have nightmares during the day - traffic jams, lack of parking, dodgy trolley in the supermarket and so on. Daylight robbery can happen at night - just try and get a cheap taxi after midnight. Smoking isn't just limited to ham, theres salmon and haddock and they are sposed to be good for you so yes, 'smoking is bad for you' is neither here nor there but usually somewhere in the middle. Don't mention it, there are those who will always try and soothe a troubled mind on here

Have you been talking to Rhys? I find a couple of litres of alcohol soothes a troubled mind, either that or you're too far gone to remember the troubles!

Gp doesn't like me drinking at all these days, so the odd several pints of Holstein Pils is definately out!

Can't get him to understand that I need to balance his medical decisions against having some fun in life, there's no point in being healthy if you're bored to death!

Absolutely...and not forgetting that alcofrolic beverages are purely medicinal anyway, I just don't know what the problem is, afterall when you have had a skinfull nothing hurts anymore, so you cut down on your painkillers and that saves the NHS thousands over time.

Heard of bacon and egg flavour ice cream, more my taste, though I do like garlic bread.

Ian..fink we might be a bit bored...we is wandering off topic...although contemplating the lack of fun with GP's and various flavourings in food isn't entirely off the rails yet, is it?
