right nine pages of drivel is enough, two posts needed to be edited, i would have thought you'd all have the Idea now.

Its easier to keep an eye on them without re-reading stuff as you cant remember which page you've look at.

so you'll have to start another

Best Wishes

Nigel

Last time the neighbour was posted on a thread the pic was censored but the thread stayed open. I doubt Ivan will post it again though, so I think we are probably safe

The weekend is almost upon us. The sun is shining nicely. And I been sat at this pooter most of the afternoon tracing the history of an airliner with potential maintenance difficulties. Amazing the lengths you have to go to find out who owned an airliner from day 1. Its currently a Portugese registered plane, operating for a British holiday charter company and I found the information about its history on a German website, which is daft cos the damn thing has never operated in Germany under a German registration. Got there in the end though, and have copied all its history and where its been and with whom since its first flight in 1981. Only looked into it cos a friend was on it when an engine failed while cruising above the North Atlantic in February this year. Discovered it wasn't the first or last engine failure it had suffered either, which is really reassuring.

Oh well, job done and the friend is contacting the Civil Aviation Authority to see what, if anything, can be done before a serious accident involving this airliner occurs.
