Seen a US model E46 M3 that had "apparently" had it done .. was on ebay some time ago.

I couldnt be sure it was genuine tho.

An E34 M5 has been converted and was in one of the mags a while ago. From memory once it tasted the LPG it did not go back to gasoline as smoothly!

Quite simple........don't bother, far more trouble than its worth.

You need to cover a fair mileage before you start covering the fitting costs.

I've yet to come across a conversion that doesn't have some form of running fault, the timing needs to be changed to run efficiently but as you need to start the car on petrol first this can often be a problem.

I could go on but trust me, don't!

You need to speak to Howard about this, he is very knowledgeable on this subject.

I was advised, by someone in the LPG business ( he worked for Toyota ), that all duel fuel cars are a compromise, and will only run correctly on one or the other.

As an M car isn't a compromise, and is meant to be all about performance, I think I'd rather use the money to buy a run-around, and keep the M series for best.

Best Wishes

Nigel
