OK got your attention, how many of us have been locked out our cars due to a flat battery and had to do the pull out the light trick to charge the battery up and unlock the deadlocks.

Well today I got a fix for the above £13.00 that means I will never ever have to worry again.

This is shear brilliance!

Let me know how you get on with it.

I only use my BM at weekends, and often suffer the falt battery problem if I havent used the car for a couple of months over the winter.

I dont have the deadlock problem though, the E34 is very easy to open with a flat battery once you know the trick.

Best Wishes

Nigel

I often wondered about these things - are they safe or are you likely to find your car smouldering away?

The blurb states that it is only intended to retain a charge and can't provide enough power to charge a flat battery, it also is quite small so I reckon it would take months to over charge the battery but as it plugs into the cigar lighter it is a very simple install removal prospect

Alot of the Porsche Club GB owners use these with great success.
