Buster

It doesn't matter about the condition of the car it's the attending that matters !

Pete will tell you what my 318i looks like (White with rust runs) but it'll get to Perth and Scone when I could be there in the 535 as long as people attend that's the fun part

Get your a**e to Duthie park and have a laugh for the day (unless there are real problems not cosmetic ones then that's a different case all together)

Arriving at Scone Palance, the BMW car club members couldn't believe it when "Take That" asked to use their cars for the cover of their relaunch album...

guys.. just got back from perth.. im seriously dissapointed!!!!!!!!!

i was out the house @ 8 today and spent 3 hours cleaning the car for this meet, took abit too long actually and as i also took a few wrong turnings i ended up getting there just over an hour late.. i text pete (or so i thought) to say that id been polishing the car for hours like a fairy and had lost track of the time but was on my way. so i get there, pull into the car park and not a bmw in sight, i wasnt suprised as i was pretty late and assumed you guys would have gone on to eat or a drive, so thought id call pete and meet up... only problem was when i rang the no. i had i got some random woman and when i asked to speak to pete she said no and hung up! lol! so i well wrote his number down wrong then!!

at this point i was thinking pants (well actually thats not the word but this is a public forum!) i tried connecting to here to see if there was any contact details on the directions post but my mobile was having none of it.. so after driving around the area for close to an hour hoping to see a group of bmw's i gave up and headed back home.

so all i got from today was a 160 mile odd round trip, £30 fuel bill, probably a few more stone chips to add to the collection, oh and of course the joy of getting up at 7.30 on a sunday!

so bloody annoyed with myself right now, for one i should have been there on time, i could have detailed the car at the meet and secondly i cant BELIEVE i couldnt even read a phone no. off a screen correctly!!

on the plus side my sat nav worked ok pete! pmsl

well hope you guys had a good day anyway!

im off to sulk like a child and make mutley noises again... lol

Sorry to hear that mate -we waited around at St Johnstone Car Park until around 12.45 (ish) and then headed onto the Wheel Inn at Scone for food. After that we popped into Scone Palace for some pics, and headed home.

We've got 7 7s (all E32s) scheduled for our meet next Saturday at Taymouth Castle, which should make Scone Palace look a bit Council

Hope some of you can join us...!
