Anyone here into Irish folk music? ... must say I've not really listened to much before, apart from when Ive been tipsy and with a certain friend who fancies himself as a bit of a singer. But another friend has just emailed me this file, and I cant get enough of it ... pure class.

click here to hear Tim Finnegans Wake - Its Ace!!!!!!!

Lyrics here www.dubbed.co.uk/timfinnegan.htm

Then I went onto find this ...  http://www.ireland-information.com/irishmusic/irishsongs-mus ic-lyrics-midis.htm

So might make myself a CD for the car. Drives to work suddenly seem a bit more entertaining.

Any recommendations to top the above - got to be fast paced?

Great band, I'll have to dig out that CD.

Let me guess,  your still listening to Now 19?

Mock you may, its not as bad as the guy in the convertible I pulled up next to the other week, who had Barry Manilow blearing at full pelt.

Didnt even have HK, so it sounded twice as bad!

still around and by now have a good few albums under their belt.

I remember seeing them in Dublin over in the early 90s when they were starting out and have gone to a good few gigs since then
