Hi My M Reg 318i is due it's Inspection 2 service. It has up till now had a full BMW or Independent BMW specialist service history. From reading other posts it seems people rate Autobavaria up westgate road or Prestige German Cars in Simonside. My wife needs to take it in but has 2 kids under 4 to deal and we live in North Shields so both of these are 2 far flung. Any recommendations closer to home for me? Cheers |

Wald The N.E. BMWCC recommend Prestige German Cars and they are just round the corner from the Metro so no problem getting home..... Shame the old Shields Ferry is no longer in existence!! http://www.prestige-german-cars.co.uk/ Cheers |

Wald, Try giving Henry and Paul a ring on 07831 283439. They were both with Mill until they went independant a couple of years ago. Although they are based at Hylton, I understand that they do mobile services and repairs. Failing that, have you thought about trying to get your car booked in with Autobavaria or PGCs on a Saturday morning? Cheers, Mick |

Yes it is! However by the time you've got the Metro down to the ferry landing & got over the river & then got the freebie 333 bus up to Shields centre it's probably just as quick to go via the Toon. Last time I did the trip it took nearly an hour! |
