iam going to have to hide after posting this ..but il post anyway ...if your looking for a tyre that the compound is so hard that it will never never wear down and does offer a surprising amount of grip ..then i think the manufactures are called  ............... stunners.........the tyres are cheap last for years ...and ive driven a few e36 s with them on ..and i was shocked to how much feel they give for cheap tyres.not as good as the big boy brands .but pound for pound .and value for mileage they have to come up somewere near top of the list ...and as much as i dislike cheap tyres ..i coundnt realy fault them

I've just put Toyo Proxes T1Rs on mine. They seem pretty good so far. Only cost me 88 each as well for 225/50/16s
Entering an age of Austerity and now driving a Focus Diesel.

aha so its not just me that actually rate the stunner brand as been good .phew thank god for that i thought it was just me going mad

I had Fato's fitted to my first E30, cost less than 30 each (fitted), though they were done through a garage we had a deal with at the time. All the reps from the garage were running them as well. All depends on how you use your car, if you are just pootling round town cheap ones are ok. You pay for what you get.
