Right first off the rules

Only leave simple reply and don't go off topic

Would you like your user name to come up when you hover your mouse over the Scottish regions members map?

What i mean here is we already have a list of members at bottom of map and loads of blue dots indicating how many members stay in that area.

Nothing else would come up just your user name,so anyone can see

Oh look That`s what area Pete323 stays.

Also we would have a different colour of dot for members of BMW Car Club (compared to forum users) and members of the Committee

This way you can easily see who is who etc:

What do you recon?

Sounds a blinding idea to me, and I'm not even included !

It would be a lot easier for people to see where they could get help from on club matters etc.

Best Wishes

Nigel

100% up for this, good idea. As claymore says, please feel free to include my email address or a link to user profile, some means by which I may be contacted. I'd like to see who is around me and could lead to more local small social events, nights at the pub etc. Go for it.

I've done a wee demo of how this could work.

Just showed mouse over with a link to the members info.

http://www.ab54.com/bmw/BMWClubScotland.htm

I've just stuck pete and I in just now to give you an idea. Obviously place names, roads etc would need to be added and tidied up a bit.

Thats the idea mate

I think it would have to be hosted on region server so Rattler (The IT guy) can keep it up to date
