Was thinking about getting some BMW centre caps for the wheels and was wondering if these are all standard size? Or dependant on wheel dimensions?  Anyone?

[EDIT]

And anyone know where I could lay my hands on these?

The dealer is the best bet if you are using oem alloys or in your case Schnitzer the bmw oem ones will also fit

I bought a set of M3 replica alloys for an E46 coupe (the 20 spoke ones) There was about a 2mm difference between the size of the origional and replica discs. One of the replica clips behind the disc broke when being power washed. I stuck the disc to the alloy with a good metal/plastic glue and it was still stuck there six months later when i sold it.  It's not an ideal solution but works if you can't source the right size discs.

I think they change from replica to replica but measure the diameter and hunt around.

Try ebay and www.autotintdesign.com or bmtown.co.uk

Sure is. It succumbed to the Rear Subframe damage which is common on e46 coupes (323,325,328) of 99/00. Basically the subframe is cracked just above the diff where the axle is mounted.Ouch!!!

Sorry to hear that Richie, sounds expensive. Where are you getting it done? Dealer or mechanic? What does it involve, a load of welding or worse than that?

Also means that I'm gonna have to check mine, it being of the same vintage. It's going back into M&G on monday to try to get the rear parcel shelf sorted, which they tried to do already. I think I'll be asking them to have a look. You have me worried...
