Thanks for the advice earlier - just bought this for the GF

Bought it from a garage near Watford. Turns out it was left in to have £1500 worth of engine work done and the owner never paid up. That was 18 months ago - so the garage were selling it to make their money back. Full MOT, no tax. I got it for £1800. Not bad considering the head's been done and a new cambelt. It's a 1988 F reg.

So now I'm looking for Mtech suspension and some nice recaros

Sorry didn't get any interior pics yet (I don't collect it until the weekend)

SE interior. It's very clean and tidy, not even any wear on the driver's seat bolster.

It really is a well looked after example.

Only thing is the gear lever is very sloppy - new bushes required I think.

She does, she is already browsing for goodies.

It's been a while since i have had an e30, Just wondering what sort of performance parts you can get, suspension, brakes and engine tunning

What do recommend?

Where do you want to stop...?

There's loads you can do to upgrade the suspension... Polyurethane bushes, shocks and springs (H&R are the best, followed by Eibach - pricey though). Large bore throttle body and chip is usually a good way to go, along with a panel filter and nice exhaust...

Plenty to keep you entertained!

Giles.

Edit: Just read your sig... an '02 Touring with an Evo engine...? Bet that's interesting. Got any pics at all?

h&r it s then. what are you doing about bushes? are you going to change them at the same time.

Thinking about a 2.7 engine are they any good?

going to look into the large bore throttle body to see if it's worth it

I've already got Powerflex bushes all round. Did this when I overhauled her straight after buying her. No problems at all with them.

2.7's are great. Lot of people on the E30 Zone have done this transplant. Go and have a look around and ask some questions there...
