I think the K&N panel filter may be the reason for it running a bit lean.

That's impossible as the mixture is set by the AFM - after the filter. You need to get the AFM mixture trimmed to correct it.

BHP Results . Sorry , no torque figures .

Kevin_1990_316i e30316i   103bhp    (102 standard)
Topazman        e46320ci 185bhp     (170 standard)
Stevo         & nbsp; e30318is 147bhp      (136 standard)
Llatsni        e36316i   102bhp      ;(100 standard)
John         &n bsp;  e30325i   172bhp  & nbsp;   (171 standard)
Jon Kenny      2002  &nb sp;   87bhp     &nbs p;(100 standard)
Technoviolet    e36323i 185bhp      (170 standard)

Biggest surprise for me was John (sorry i can't remember second name) in the e30 which started life as a 320i but now has 323i running gear and a 325i engine . He got 172 bhp and was 1 cylinder down . Mad .

No wonder he's so popular with the girls!

My popularity does not stem from it's flexibility

No bother Graham . There's an add in the 'new stuff' in this months Performance BMW mag about an uprated clutch for the e30 . I'll dig it out and let you know . Get a price from BMW for a genuine one and then i'll tell you if it makes sense upgrading .

Hey Stevo...!!!

Really sorry about not turning up, clutch gave up on me on friday night, so couldn't make it. Started slipping an awfull lot when accelereted, revs shot up but went nowhere in a hurry at all

Need to order one very soon as i am car less at the moment. Is it worth my while getting an uprated one? I hope to do the odd track day too so not sure whether to go standard or not. Where would be the best place to get one and how much would they cost?

Gutted i didn't see the 2002 on the rollers, saw it go in mondelo and she was some looney bus...

Really sorry again stevo and will hopefully see ya at a meet or event soon...

Rgds

Graham
