hi

i'm new to the forum and was just wondering whether anyone else had had any problems with a vibration from the front drivers side wheel. it feels like a judder from speeds of about 80-90 mph. the car is a 1994 "m" plate e36 coupe. if  anyone could help that would be great cheers

Hi barty,

Have you had the wheels balanced?

Judder, need more information? Does it transmit vibration through the steering wheel? etc.

hi rory

the judder feels like the drivers front wheel bounces and it does vibrate threw the steering wheel. i am havin new front discs as the garage where i bought the car from reckons i ve warped the disc

OK Barty,

Warped discs.. When braking do you get a pulsing through the brake pedal? Not quite like an ABS feeling but similar. The rate of the pulse should increase with the speed you are braking from?

i do get the pulsing through the brake pedal and it does get worse at speed . i ve ordered the discs and pads so i ll see what happens and i ll let you know how i get on

If you get the pulsing, you probably doing the right thing with new discs as it does sound like they are warped.

Hope it solves the problem.

hey my brake problem is solved , changed the discs and pads and is now spot on again
